What happens at the charging point?

Activation within a few seconds

The smallBOX offers particularly easy operation and allows the charging process to be activated within a few seconds via app or NFC tag on the smartphone.

Depending on the operator, various charging tariffs are available, ensuring maximum flexibility. Payment is conveniently made via credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, or SEPA direct debit.

For employees entitled to company cars, it is also possible to directly assign the charging processes to the respective cost center, thus ensuring a transparent and efficient billing process.

No more expensive peak loads

Load management for charging infrastructure refers to the targeted control and optimization of charging station electricity consumption to prevent overloading the power grid. Intelligent systems monitor and adjust energy demand in real time, thereby optimizing charging times and reducing costs. This enables the sustainable use of existing resources and promotes the integration of renewable energies. Load management is therefore a crucial factor for the future of electromobility.

Charging points compliant with calibration law

chargeBIG charging points are compliant with German calibration law. Legally compliant billing is handled via the chargeBIG backend. (This does not apply if a third-party backend is used.)

The backend creates invoices for users, transmits payment data to the payment service provider, and generates reports on the loading data.
SAFE eV's transparency software can be used to verify compliance with calibration law.

Reports & Monitoring

The chargeBIG dashboard logs the kilowatt hours charged per user, vehicle and location.
The combination of different user groups (fleet, employees, public, etc.) is also possible.

In addition, users and access codes can be managed accordingly, current charging processes and potential errors at the charging points can be viewed, tariffs for charging current can be defined, energy data can be read out and comprehensive reports can be downloaded.
